About the charity
The Guy Mascolo Football Charity was formed in 2011 in memory of Guy Mascolo. Guy was one of the founders of the successful Toni & Guy hairdressing group. He spent his teenage years living in Clapham and was a keen footballer, spending much of his free time kicking a ball around the parks of South London. His Brothers Anthony & Bruno and widow Flora set-up the Charity with the aim of helping disadvantaged kids in South London.
Initially the Charity, connected to Bedhead FC, subsidised players so that fees could remain affordable for all kids in the local area and so the Club could continue providing top class football coaching for the community. Since the initial support, GMFC has continued to subsidise BHFC’s players and has broken out into various projects within the community.
